Sustainability podcast nominated for award

A podcast created to spread the word about Lancaster University’s Pentland Centre for Sustainability has been nominated for a top management award.

Transforming Tomorrow is hosted by Professor Jan Bebbington and Paul Turner from the Pentland Centre. We work to create over 50 episodes with guests drawn from all four corners of the world. Proving that podcasts can be taken out and about we also recorded ‘in the field’ - literally! A mini series featured the sustainability work underway in Cumbria’s farms.

The Chartered Association of Business Schools has included the series in a long list of 19 for the inaugural Management Publication of the Year. We’ll hear if the podcast is shortlisted on 2nd November.

An expert judging panel evaluated submissions on their originality, significance, rigour, and impact.

After less than 18 months in business I’m delighted that a podcast created from scratch has been nationally recognised and, win or lose, I hope this shows the value of working with a trusted partner who can ensure tone, character and quality are all achieved to the highest level.
