Imagining the future
It was a privilege to be involved in Imagination Lancaster's Festival of Futures at Lancaster University. The festival was the culmination of the £13.2M Beyond Imagination project funded by Research England and Lancaster University. Over 600 people were involved in 9 satellite events, 2 symposiums and an exhibition of cutting-edge design research in collaboration with The Centre for Print Research, UWE Bristol, Lab4Living and Hub for Biotechnology in the Built Environment (HBBE) exploring how cutting-edge design research can contribute to a healthier, more prosperous and sustainable world.

Making a difference; new podcast series showcases innovative collaborations
A new series of podcasts about ground-breaking collaborations between academics from Lancaster University and communities all over the world has been released.
Commissioned and recorded in spring 2023, the five part series includes the remarkable story of how work with a socially deprived coastal town has helped the community recover after COVID-19.
Other episodes included research on new nuclear fusion technology, work to counter counterfeit drugs and efforts to tackle the stigma of Albinism.

Health innovation showcase commission to highlight wellbeing event
Lancaster University’s Health Innovation Campus was the setting for an innovative Health and Wellbeing Festival. Funded by the Economic and Social Research Council it showcased collaborations between the university, charities and community groups. I was delighted to be asked to provide support by producing a news style report podcast as well as half a dozen fascinating interviews with people from all walks of life.
